Zeiss Dialyt 10x40 BGA TP binoculars in mint condition. The rubber armour including eyecups shows no wear, there are a very few miniscule marks on the metal work but these are too small to photograph, the optics are crystal clear with no marks on the lens surfaces and clean inside, the focus is smooth with no play, the collimation is perfect. This is a late production model made around the year 2000 when had Zeiss re-badged this model'classic' and with the later P phase coatings which delivered a vastly improved view.

The sharpness compares well with the current crop of alpha binoculars but with a much more relaxed and easy view, the field of view is decent for a 10x binocular and the Dialyts are very compact and lightweight at 738 grams and 16 cm in length making them easy to use all day; a truly great binocular. This late production model is becoming increasingly difficult to find in this condition. Supplied with a Zeiss rainguard, leather case and a brand new Zeiss neoprene strap.
